WWE injury update......................

On the heels of learning that Batista will be on the shelf for four months after having surgery to fix a torn bicep muscle, it appears that he may not be the only one taking time off. Aside from the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, who are both still healing injuries suffered at Wrestlemania 25 and have not given a date of return, here are a few others:

Matt Hardy: At this week's Superstars taping, during his match with Kofi Kingston, Hardy suffered a torn abdominal muscle and is scheduled for surgery. No word yet on how much in-ring time he will miss.

CM Punk: Not much is known quite yet about his possible injury. Some reports say he appears to be suffering from some sort of upper body discomfort and has been working matches injured as of late. Could the WWE Universe be seeing another story similar to Batista's, with Punk dropping the championship belt to take time off? This Sunday's match at 'The Bash' between Punk and Hardy could answer that question.

Edge: The 'Rated R Superstar' is not said to have any specific injury, but is showing signs of wearing down. Some have even commented that his matches are not what they used to be and Edge has an overall tired look. For now, he is not in the title scene and reports are saying his schedule on the road has been lessened for the time being.http://www.examiner.com
